Question:
Will my Drone become obsolete quickly? Should I wait for newer models before buying?

Answer:
Although the technology is advancing quickly, actual consumer products which bring all the right features at the right price are not! As one example, the original Phantom quadcopter, released over 2 years ago, still remains one of the best and most reliable units in it’s price and size range.

In fact, in most cases it’s best not to buy the newest unit on the market as they will likely have bugs and production issues which need to be sorted out. I suggest waiting at least 3 months after the release of most new models – by that time, the initial problems are likely sorted out.
